Swan Hill City Taxis is proud to offer our services to members of the Multi-Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP). The MPTP has been established to assist people with accessibility and mobility needs who cannot use public transport. Under this program, Swan Hill City Taxis can accept subsidised fares for program members. Vouchers are available for 50% off the total fare up to the value of $60.

How can the MPTP Help?

The MPTP recognises that people with severe or permanent disabilities or accessibility issues still need to be able to get about independently. Whether they need to go to medical appointments and rehabilitation sessions or do their shopping, having access to transport is essential. Through the program, Swan Hill City Taxis can provide door-to-door service for MPTP members, making it easy for them to get where they need to go.

Who Is Eligible for the MPTP?

To become an MPTP member, you need to be a permanent resident and live in Victoria. You must have a severe or permanent disability that prevents you from using public transport and hold an eligible concession card or notation such as a DVA card, EDA or TPI.
